Pearl’s Saloon is reportedly a former hotel and bordello turned dance hall and live music venue. Located in the historic Ft. Worth Stockyards, Pearl’s is a true Texas honky tonk, offering live Country and Western music four nights a week.
Pearl’s Saloon has a pretty regular crowd, but don’t worry, the folks are friendly, and I soon felt like a regular myself.
I don’t know if the history of Pearl is true, but what I do know is that Pearl’s is the real deal. The place was dripping with atmosphere: from the red walls and tin ceiling, to the beautiful antique mahogany wood bar. The barmaids wore white western shirts with Pearl’s embroidered on the front in blue which I tried to buy, but no dice.
Pearls is also the best place to see real cowboys and get your two-step on. Check the website to see the lineup of live music each week.
If your travels bring you to Ft.Worth, plan to spend a day exploring the Stockyards and the night at Pearl’s. Just make sure it’s Wednesday thru Saturday, because Pearl’s is closed Sunday thru Tuesday.

My fiancé and I were there, last Friday, and met Misty. She told us the story of Pearl and I’d like to find a photo of the painting of Pearl that used to be on the wall. Can you help?
Hi Guy,
I don’t remember that. I’ll have a look through my photos and see if I find anything but I really doubt it. Did you have fun?
