Weekly Photo Challenge: Wrong (in Santa Barbara)

written by Penny Sadler

I’m never sure if I’m going to participate in the weekly photo challenge.  In spite of my resistance, every Friday I find myself checking to see what the new word (challenge) is. Maybe my conscious mind gives up too soon? But my unconscious gives me a good smack and says, “Wait a minute, I’ve got the perfect image.” No surprise once I have a solid concept, I find I also have more than one perfect image.

I’m just back from Santa Barbara, as some of you know from my recent posts. I’ve been editing images from the Fiesta parade and there are so many great faces and smiles. I wish I could post them all, but these seemed just right for the theme wrong. Which leads me to “How can something so wrong seem so right?” Don’t you just love the English language? “That’s just so wrong,”
can mean something serious or negative or, as I illustrate here, funny and fun and just plain silly. I hope you enjoy them.

Do you think the bride and groom are aware that they look a little like a circus act depending on your line of sight?

And this one? Do you see something suspicious about this nun?

Nun on the Run

For some reason this nun makes me think of the film, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
