I spent New Years Eve and the first day of 2012 in Marfa and Ft. Davis, Texas. Possibilities is the name of a little shop in Ft. Davis. You can’t miss it, it’s on the main highway into town, assuming you’re coming from the east.
The word encompasses the essence of a new year. After all, what is life without possibilities? To me, it would be very dull indeed.
The vast landscape in West Texas was like a tranquilizer, allowing inspiration to flow in. Driving is a dream out west because there’s no traffic…just open highways and blue skies for miles and miles.
I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year and a place where you can calm your mind, relax, and consider the possibilities the new year brings.
